Chayakorn is an associate at Mediums, specializing in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and financing. With a strong foundation in both Thai and international legal frameworks, he provides practical counsel to a diverse clientele, helping them navigate complex transactions and regulatory landscapes. His key capabilities include handling complicated corporate matters, conducting meticulous due diligence exercises, and demonstrating an extraordinary level of professional care when dealing with transaction documents. Chayakorn also has extensive experience with foreign direct investment-related transactions in Thailand, as he regularly assists foreign clients (including some globally recognized PRC-based entities) with their entry into Thailand’s dynamic market.

Representing a listed renewable energy company in the disposal of its controlling stake in an 80 MW solar power plant operating under a long-term power purchase agreement with the provincial electricity authority, including regulatory approvals and financing arrangements, with a total value of THB 1,800 million (USD 53 million).
Representing a real-estate investment arm of one of the largest private equity funds in the world and its local affiliates in the sale to a real estate-focused private equity trust of 100% of their equity and debt investments in the owner of a fully renovated office and retail building for a total value of approximately USD 200 million.
Representing a Thai individual investor in their acquisition of approximately 92.46% of the total outstanding shares in a Thai entertainment public company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) for a total value of approximately THB 650 million (USD 20 million).
Representing a Thai publicly listed company prominent for its substantial market share in solar power-related businesses in Thailand in: (i) the Singapore law-governed sale of its 49% equity interests in its special purpose vehicle, owning solar power plants with approximately 100 Megawatts of aggregate contractual capacity for the sales of electricity to several renowned offtakers across Thailand, to an investment entity sponsored by one of the largest global asset management firms in the world for a total value of up to approx. USD 24 million; and (ii) its joint venture arrangement with the buyer for their further co-management of the SPV.
Representing a leading real estate developer listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in the rare sale of their “during-construction” residential condominium projects located in Bangkok’s prime area for a total value of approximately USD 37 million.
Representing one of the most renowned SET-listed real estate developers in Thailand in its divestiture, through a combination of both share-sale and assets-sale transactions, of its operating hotels in Koh Samui, Thailand for a total value of approximately USD 31 million.
Representing Thai affiliates of one of the largest US private equity funds/alternative asset managers serving many of the world’s most prominent investors in: (i) the approximately USD 20 million-worth acquisition of a hotel in a tourist destination of Thailand from a Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)-listed company for the approximately USD 50 million-worth further construction and development as a new hotel; and (ii) the approximately USD 40 to 50 million-worth acquisition of operating real-estate assets located in Bangkok, Thailand through public biddings administered by the Legal Execution Department, the Ministry of Justice of Thailand.
Representing a close-ended, real estate-focused private equity trust in a complex and strategic acquisition of operating rights and assets related to two distinct 5-star and 3-star hotel properties located in Bangkok’s central business district for a total value of greater than USD 70 million, involving assets on land leased from a government authority which served as a significant factor given the rarity of transfers of mid-term leasehold rights in Thailand (especially when leasing from government authorities).
Advising a leading food and grocery delivery platform on multiple investment structuring alternatives and the optimization of its local businesses from commercial and legal perspectives.

Representing the Singaporean branch of a leading Malaysia-headquartered commercial bank in its loan extension in an aggregate facility value of USD 15 million to a Thai publicly listed company who is a key player in Thailand’s consumer lending market, for refinancing and working capital purposes.
